Peace Lily Care Info

The Peace Lily, also known as Spathiphyllum, is best suited for indoor environments where it can receive bright, indirect light.

  • Lighting: Place in a location with bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight as it can scorch the leaves.
  • Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water when the top inch of soil feels dry.
  • Humidity: Prefers high humidity levels. Mist the leaves regularly or place a humidifier nearby.
  • Temperature: Thrives in temperatures between 18-24 degrees Celsius. Avoid cold drafts and sudden temperature changes.
  • Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer).
  • Toxicity: Peace Lilies are toxic to pets if ingested. Keep out of reach of cats and dogs.

With the right care, your Peace Lily will reward you with beautiful foliage and occasional white blooms. Remember to keep it away from pets due to its toxicity.
