Rhipsalis Red Coral – 190mm

The Rhipsalis Red Coral is a unique epiphytic cactus native to the rainforests of Central and South America. This plant is also known as the Red Mistletoe Cactus due to its vibrant red stems and coral-like appearance. The Rhipsalis Red Coral features long, trailing stems with small, delicate leaves, making it a popular choice for hanging baskets or as a cascading plant in a mixed arrangement. One interesting characteristic of this plant is its ability to thrive in low light conditions, making it a great choice for indoor spaces with limited natural light.

Rhipsalis Red Coral Care Info

Rhipsalis Red Coral is best suited for bright, indirect light indoors. It can also thrive in a shaded outdoor area with protection from direct sunlight.

  • Lighting: Place in a location with bright, indirect light for optimal growth.

  • Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity levels, mist occasionally or place on a pebble tray to increase humidity.
  • Temperature: Keep in a warm environment, ideally between 18-24 degrees Celsius.
  • Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer).
