The Philodendron Cordatum has glossy, dark green leaves that can grow up to 10cm long. One interesting characteristic of this plant is its ability to purify the air by removing toxins such as formaldehyde.

  • Lighting: Place in a spot with bright, indirect light to maintain its vibrant green foliage.
  • Watering: Allow the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings, then water thoroughly. Avoid overwatering.
  • Humidity: Prefers higher humidity levels, misting the leaves occasionally can help increase humidity.
  • Temperature: Keep in a warm environment, between 18-24 degrees Celsius.
  • Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season.
  • Toxicity: Keep away from pets and children as the plant can be toxic if ingested.
